In 2014 occasional collaborations became a stable network within Biblioteca Diffusa project, a collection of reading points and small libraries, coordinated by the Municipality, to promote the sharing of the book patrimony of associations, organizations and other public and private institutions, in line with the philosophy of active participation directly in the community’s places. In 2018 Sistema Bibliotecario Giuliano was born with the aim of networking 18 specialist libraries, 5 of public reading and 4 of higher institutes. At the end of 2018, Patto di Trieste per la Lettura developed these networks including publishing houses, booksellers, theatres, theatre companies, academic institutions, healthcare companies and sector professionals. PTL is effectively the meeting point between the different needs of the partners and activates new cultural experiences.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
