[Joyce dopo «Ulysses»]. A fragment of one of Svevo’s many texts on Joyce: “I had extensively read and studied his great poem, whose many meanders I now knew. I could see into it. I knew every character and loved them all, Stephen Bloom and Simon Lenehan, the Englishman with cynegetic dreams, and also the irate citizen and above all Bloom’s wife. I lived its varied and complex form”.
